The best coffee shops in Europe serving specialty coffee (Part 2)

We continue to introduce our readers to the best coffee shops in Europe where they can enjoy specialty coffee.

   13. Hungary, Budapest, Kontakt. You won't find sugar on the tables here. Not because they save it, but because the baristas who work here believe that sugar can only spoil the taste of really good coffee. There is also no hot water and no milk for drinks, because it is believed that all of them will only do the same thing as sugar - spoil the coffee. Therefore, no Americano, latte or any other of the many recipes that every Ukrainian coffee lover is used to. Only hardcore, only black espresso. However, no one will forbid you to pour milk into your drink, brought with you, by pouring espresso into a paper cup. If you dare.

   14. Hungary, Budapest, My Little Melbourne. They specialize in filter coffee, and you can choose from 10 filtration methods (which is usually 9-10 more methods than in a standard coffee shop somewhere in Ukraine). You can also snack on your worm here, stuffing it with sandwiches or pastries.

   15. Scotland, Edinburgh, Artisan Roast. This is the first specialty coffee shop to open in Scotland, and it has been steadily continuing its coffee business since 2007. Here, the coffee is made from its own blends, offering not only the standard sweet snack, like most 3rd wave coffee shops, but also a significant selection of dishes, including soups, vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free dishes. As well as brilliant barista sayings and hipster decor.

   16. Scotland, Edinburgh, Brew Lab. The establishment is located in one of the former university premises, and offers hot and cold variations of coffee. As in the previous location, you can eat here, so the surrounding office workers and colleagues come here for breakfast, lunch and brunch.

   17. Turkey, Istanbul, Montag Coffee Roasters. Here you will find 5 types of roasting and 3 types of preparation of the drink: espresso, aeropress and drip. The highlight of the space is the two-story, where on the balcony of the second floor you can sit with a cup of coffee and watch the busy street below.

     18. Portugal, Lisbon, Fabrica Coffee Roasters & Coffee Shop. Unlike Kontakt in Budapest, your espresso will be sweetened with a generous amount of sugar. Or, grab a standard V60 and add sugar to your liking.

   19. Portugal, Lisbon, Copenhagen Coffee Lab. Along with your coffee, you can enjoy delicious-smelling pastries made in the same establishment, and buy bread to take home, soaked in the aromas of the specialty coffee served here and the love of the bakers.

      20. Britain, London, Climpson & Sons. If you haven't heard of Climpson & Sons, you're not a Londoner. In addition to regular coffee, you can try the Nitro Coffee Martini, which is served after dinner.

   21. United Kingdom, London, TAP Coffee. TAP Coffee is another big name brand that has outgrown its locale. There are too many features to describe in a short note, from the large amount of space that is suitable for the crowds that constantly gather here for aromatic drinks, to the candy canes and vintage coffeeware.

   22. United Kingdom, London, MILK. Great coffee, breakfast or brunch, fresh seasonal ingredients, great flavors… What else do you need for a wonderful five minutes dedicated to yourself?

  23. Czech Republic, Prague, EMA Espresso Bar. This is a bustling and noisy hub of local socializing, where the buzz takes place around a large communal table set inside. Grab a bite to eat with your coffee, like a piece of sweet cake.

   24. Czech Republic, Prague, La Boheme. Our list would be incomplete without La Boheme, which is not only historic and world-famous, but has also been the subject of films, songs, poems and prose. In this pioneering 3rd wave establishment with a large open space of a lounge room combined with a library, you can be alone, in company, work or enjoy coffee with alcohol, which is made very tasty here.
