The first coffee trees were brought to Rwanda in the early 20th century, but today Rwanda is Africa's ninth largest Arabica coffee producer with about 450,000 small farms which average less than one hectare in size (about 165 coffee trees per coffee farmer) totalling about 28,000 hectares in coffee cultivation.
Our travels have brought us to Druzhba processing station, where they process coffee in many different ways. We have found that coffee from that station has pleasant flavours and decided to bring back some lots to offer you.
Rwanda Honey is a honey-processed Red Bourbon variety, that we've roasted to bring out the sweet notes of grape, apple and sherry. It's worth trying black and with milk.
